Rules

House Rules for Our Guests

(1) We place great importance on the cleanliness of our beautiful Strandhaus Buskam and kindly ask our guests to treat the furniture and equipment with care. As a tenant, you are also responsible for ensuring that your fellow travelers handle the property carefully.

(2) The Strandhaus Buskam may only be occupied by the number of persons specified in the rental contract. Any deviation requires prior written agreement. The maximum number includes children. In the event of over-occupancy, we are entitled to charge an appropriate additional fee for the duration of the excess occupancy, and any extra persons must leave the rental property immediately.

(3) Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the holiday home. If violated, we may charge a cleaning fee of up to €250.00 (net)—regardless of any additional costs incurred due to this breach. We strive to provide a fresh indoor environment for all subsequent guests. Smoking is only permitted outdoors at a safe distance from the thatched roof.

(4) Barbecuing is not permitted within the ensemble of our thatched-roof houses, as it poses a fire hazard. The same applies to handling New Year's Eve fireworks.

(5) There are two parking spaces on the property, each with a carport. Charging hybrid and electric vehicles is only allowed at the paid charging station in one of the carports. Setting up tents, caravans, or similar structures on the premises is not permitted.

(6) A quiet period is in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM within the Strandhaus Lobbe complex. Guests must be mindful of their neighbors, all of whom are on vacation and seeking relaxation. Parties are prohibited at all times.

(7) Umbrellas should only be opened while under personal supervision and otherwise kept closed. Weather in Lobbe changes rapidly—rain may be blown away within minutes, but strong and gusty winds can follow just as quickly. Therefore, guests must ensure that windows and doors are closed when leaving the holiday home. The electronic underfloor heating system should be adjusted for energy efficiency and comfort. Lights and electrical devices must be switched off when leaving the house.

(8) Internet usage is permitted as long as it does not violate legal regulations. Illegal activities (such as unauthorized downloads or access to restricted websites) will be reported and prosecuted. The guest bears full liability for any unlawful internet use.

(9) Pets of any kind are not allowed in our Strandhaus Buskam. If animals are brought in without prior approval, the landlord may charge a cleaning fee of €250.00 (net), as well as additional costs incurred due to this violation.

(10) Installing or affixing materials for decoration, shading, or similar purposes is not permitted in the holiday home. Guests are fully liable for any unauthorized modifications and must compensate the landlord for any damages. The guest also indemnifies the landlord against claims from third parties related to such actions.

(11) The landlord or their representatives have the right to access the Strandhaus Buskam at any time, particularly in cases of imminent danger. Consideration will be given to the guest’s interests when exercising this right. The landlord will inform the guest in advance unless circumstances make it unreasonable or impossible.
